NFT Avatars are cool, but there is one problem that is unaddressed.
The lack of customization.
Right now, NFT collections are purely determined by their creators. Creators decide how each NFT looks like, how rare each NFT is, etc.
The community has no input. During minting, the NFT you receive is a static JPEG randomly picked from a pile. Oftentimes, it’s one that you don’t like, nor one that represents you.
If NFT Avatars are made to represent the community, why isn’t the community involved in making them?
You have your own unique personality and style. Just like how you get to choose the clothes you wear, you should be able to customize certain aspects of your NFT Avatar.
With this, we took on the task of making a customizable NFT collection.
What we came up with isn’t just about the artwork. It’s also about the experience.
Instead of inviting you to buy our NFTs, we’re inviting you to create them with us.
Introducing… Crayzillas!
Crayzillas is the first colourable NFT collection on Ethereum. NFTs that you colour in!
Inspired by the cute dinosaurs we drew and coloured in during childhood, Crayzillas are full of personality and have a variety of different faces, clothes, and accessories.
Most importantly, you have the power to make your Crayzilla yours. With Crayons, you get to embrace your inner artist and design your Crayzilla to represent your creative tastes — just like the colouring pages you coloured in as a kid.
So, how does it work?
It’s as easy as colouring in real life! Simply collect 5 Crayons of any colour and 1 Colouring Page, and visit the Colouring Desk (app unlocked after launch) to create your Crayzilla.
Crayons and Colouring Pages allow for customization without sacrificing rarity. In fact, Crayons actually make each NFT rarer by making colour, colour combinations, and who colours them (eg. artists, celebrities, influencers) additional aspects of rarity. These are aspects that the community controls, not the creators.
With over 236 million possible combinations, you can be sure that there is a Crayzilla for you, created by you. The collection is constantly evolving based on the artistic decisions of the community.
Crayzillas doesn’t stop at customization. Like the dinosaurs we drew as kids, Crayzillas is a part of a bigger universe. A universe full of imaginative ideas and childlike wonder.
We’re building an NFT ecosystem that provides more utility than you can think of. Tools that allow everyone to express their creativity in Web 3.0. And an amazing community of friendly, fun-loving people with access to exclusive perks.
